Swimming Lessons Are Over! YES!

So, if you normally read my posts you will remember me signing Cam up for the 3 year old swimming classes even though he is only 2 and a half. I mean honestly, what difference could 6 months really make? The answer is... A LOT!!! I am not sure if I should blame the fact that Camden has absolutely no attention span on his age, his gender, or genetics since his Dad can't ever sit still. Whatever the cause is besides the point. All I know is that I won't be signing Camden up for swimming lessons again for a very long time!

Most parents would love going and watching their kids take part in their very first swimming lessons, but I had anxiety every time! Camden was constantly running from, splashing, and yelling at his teacher! On their little graduation paper that the kids each got tonight Camdens teacher said "You are cute, but such a handful!" (that was actually very nicely put!). Now don't get me wrong, I love my little guy, but wow I can't wait til he gets a bit older and learns how to behave!
Anyways, tonight was his last night and with many threats and bribes he actually did a really good job! He only started to run away once but quickly returned to his class when he saw me start to walk towards him. I was so proud! And since he actually was doing good and I wasn't on pins and needles wondering what he was going to do next I finally got some pictures! So I hope you enjoy!

Before and After

So it finally happened... I gave in! Gavins hair was starting to get in the way of his eyes so I gave in and cut it. But I must say, he looks pretty stinkin' cute! We cut off almost 3 inches in some places, but now he actually has a hair style. Thanks April for our little mans new do!

Easter...finally!

We had tons of fun over Easter weekend! On Saturday we went to the Herriman Easter Egg Hunt and came home with loads of prizes! Camden got to go with his best friend/cousin Braylee. We had to hold them back until they blew the horn, they were so excited!
That night we went over to Tauni and Nicks house and died Easter eggs... Really the moms dyed the eggs, the dads watched sports, and the kids trashed the house! I don't know what we were expecting, but it was still fun!
On Easter the kids made out like bandits! Apparently the Easter Bunny has a shopping problem, but in his defense, it was all stuff that they would have eventually needed over the summer! Camdens big gift was a bike which he is still not to sure of and Gavin got a Jumperoo which he loves!!! Tyson calls it his new exercise program!
Later that day we went to my parents house and had an Easter egg hunt and dinner. Once again our kids got spoiled and had tons of fun! And, last but not least, we went to Tys Grandma and Grandpa McQuistons house for another dinner and egg hunt. The kids got money and more candy and Tyson even won $50 in an Easter game of deal or no deal!

All in all we had a fantastic Easter! Thanks to everyone who spent it with us!

First Trip to the Mayan!

Saturday night Ty's parents took us all to the Mayan. We had been wanting to take Cam there for a while now, so we were way excited to go! Camden and Braylee loved it and I think that Kason and Gavin seemed to like it as well. Here are a few pics of our fun adventure in the jungle! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Dean-Don!!!
Here's the whole family watching the show. We were on the top floor right at the edge so we could see everything!

Probably my favorite pic ever of Bray and Cam!

6 Months Old!

I can't evey believe that Gavin is 6 months old! He is so cute and HUGE! He is our cute little chubby man and we love him to death!

Bowling Experience

Last night we went bowling with Ty's sister Tauni and her family. We thought that Camden would love it because it involves balls, but boy were we wrong! For some reason after every time that he pushed the ball down the ramp he would start balling and saying that he wanted to go home! It was so crazy! But every time we told him that it was his turn again he wanted to go... and then the crying would start again! This went on for at least half of the game and the only times that he didn't cry were when either Nick helped him or once he figured out that he could carry the ball and do it himself. So needless to say bowling was crazy, but in the end it was loads of fun! Thanks Nick and Tauni for taking us bowling!

Easter Pics!

Saturday we got together with Tauni and Jessica and all of the kids to go get some pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. I was a little afraid that Camden would be scared since he wouldn't get anywhere near Santa this year but he loved him! Camden and Braylee didn't want to leave, they were so fascinated! We had fun trying to get them all to smile and of course Gavin wouldn't, but all in all it was a good time!

I think I have the cutest niece and nephews in the whole world!
